Power Capacity

SACASOLThe San Carlos Solar Energy Project will have a gross generation capacity of 13 MW for Phase 1 and 9 MW for Phase 2. These phases will have net outputs of 11.7 MW and 8.1 MW, respectively.  These will contribute additional peak power to the Visayas grid and assists in stabilizing the power supply in San Carlos City while helping meet the growing energy demand in the region.

An existing substation connected to the Visayas grid and owned by VRESCO, the local electric distribution cooperative is located only 70 meters away from the proposed site.
